24/7 Emergency Mobile Truck Repair in Las Vegas

Breakdowns don't keep business hours. A tractor that won't start at a North Las Vegas warehouse at 4 a.m., a box truck overheating in Strip-area traffic, or a semi stranded on the I-15 shoulder in July — every hour it sits costs money and puts the load at risk.

Our emergency truck repair service in Las Vegas is built for those moments. We bring diagnostics, hand and power tools, and commonly needed parts directly to the truck, so many repairs can be completed right where it stopped — when the location and the repair allow it to be done safely.

That means fewer unnecessary tows, no waiting days for an open bay at a shop, and a driver who gets back on the road sooner.

Common Truck Breakdowns We Handle Around Las Vegas

Most breakdowns announce themselves as a warning light, a noise, a smell or a truck that simply won't move. Here's how the problems we get called for most often tend to show up for drivers on Las Vegas-area routes.

On arrival, fault codes, live data and a few quick tests confirm the cause. That tells us whether the part and the repair are practical on-site, or whether the truck is better off at a shop — so you get a clear answer either way. Repair details for each system are in our mobile truck repair services.

  • No-start conditions

Cranks but won't fire, or nothing at all at the key. The cause can be electrical, fuel or an engine-protection shutdown.

  • Dead batteries

Slow crank, dim dash lights or a truck that died overnight. Heat and parasitic draws are frequent culprits.

  • Starter failure

A single click, grinding, or no engagement even though the batteries test good.

  • Alternator failure

Battery light on, voltage dropping on the gauge, and lights dimming as you drive.

  • Air leaks

Hissing at the chassis or trailer, and air pressure that bleeds down soon after shutdown.

  • Low air pressure

Low-air buzzer, slow build-up, or spring brakes that won't release.

  • Brake problems

Pulling, dragging, hot wheel ends or an ABS lamp on the tractor or trailer.

  • Overheating

Temperature gauge climbing, a heat derate, or steam from under the hood in traffic.

  • Coolant leaks

Puddles under the truck, a sweet smell, or a low-coolant light after a hot run.

  • Radiator problems

Seeping tanks, packed fins, or temperatures that creep up only under load.

  • Fan clutch issues

Fan not engaging when the engine is hot — or locked on all the time and robbing power.

  • Broken belts

A sudden squeal, then a battery light and rising temperature at the same time.

  • Failed hoses

Spraying coolant, or a charge-air hose that blows off and leaves the truck with no power.

  • Fuel delivery problems

Stalling, surging, or a no-start after running low or changing filters.

  • Electrical faults

Random warning lights, dead gauges, or problems that come and go.

  • DPF / DEF faults

DPF or DEF lamps, frequent regens, and a countdown to a speed limit.

  • Loss of power

A truck that won't pull a grade, feels short on boost, or suddenly falls flat.

  • Engine derates

Power or road speed limited by an engine-protection or aftertreatment strategy.

  • Trailer lighting problems

Marker, stop or turn lights out on one side — or the whole trailer dark.

  • Trailer air-system problems

Leaking glad hands, damaged lines, or trailer brakes that won't release.

  • Reefer-related failures

Unit alarms, a unit that won't start, or box temperature drifting from set point.

What we fix

Mobile Truck Repair Services

From roadside emergencies to scheduled fleet work, our Las Vegas mobile truck repair services cover the systems that keep commercial trucks moving — engine, fuel, aftertreatment, cooling, air brakes, electrical, suspension, trailers and reefer units.

Every call starts with a real diagnosis, so you know what's wrong, whether it can be fixed where the truck sits, and what it takes before work begins.

Emergency & Roadside Repair

Fast-response repairs for trucks that are stopped right now — on the highway, at a truck stop, or in a yard.

Emergency Roadside Truck Repair

A truck stopped on a shoulder, a ramp or a truck stop lot needs a different response than a shop appointment. Our roadside truck repair service in Las Vegas sends a mobile mechanic with diagnostic equipment, tools and commonly needed parts to the truck — day or night.

The goal is simple: find out why the truck stopped, fix it on the spot when it can be done safely, and get you moving. If it needs a tow, we'll tell you that up front.

Common problems

  • No-start trucks and crank/no-start conditions
  • Engine shutdown or sudden loss of power
  • Air leaks, low air pressure and brake lockup
  • Battery, starter or alternator failure
  • Overheating and coolant leaks
  • Broken belts and burst hoses
  • Fuel delivery problems after running low
  • Electrical failures and DPF / DEF derates
  • Trailer problems and tire or wheel-end issues

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Scan for active and inactive fault codes
  • Battery, starter and charging-circuit testing
  • Find and repair air leaks so spring brakes release normally
  • Replace failed belts, hoses and clamps
  • Change filters and prime the fuel system
  • Wiring, fuse and connector repair at the roadside

On-site: Highway shoulders, ramps, truck stops, parking lots and customer docks. If a truck is in a live lane or on a shoulder too narrow to work on safely, it may need to be moved first — we'll talk that through on the phone.

In the Las Vegas Valley: We respond along the valley's freight routes — I-15, US-95, I-11 and the 215 Beltway — and the surface streets that connect them to warehouses, yards and job sites.

Common truck breakdowns we handle

Semi Truck Repair

Class 8 tractors depend on several systems working together: engine, air, brakes, electrical, cooling and the connection to the trailer. Our semi truck repair service in Las Vegas covers day cabs, sleeper trucks and highway tractors, performed where the truck is parked whenever practical.

Owner-operators get a mechanic who comes to the truck stop or home yard. Fleets get tractors repaired without shuttling them across town.

Common problems

  • Tractor electrical faults and lighting failures
  • Slow air build-up and air system leaks
  • Brake complaints on steer and drive axles
  • Starting and charging problems
  • Cooling system leaks and high engine temperatures
  • Drivability problems — hesitation, surging, derates
  • Fifth-wheel locking or release problems
  • Tractor-to-trailer air and electrical connection faults

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Full diagnostic scan and system checks
  • Air compressor, governor and air dryer checks
  • Battery, starter and alternator testing
  • Coolant pressure testing and hose replacement
  • Fifth-wheel inspection, adjustment and lubrication
  • Tractor-side gladhand, air line and 7-way cord replacement

On-site: A tractor sitting at a dock, a drop yard or a truck stop usually doesn't need to move for this work. Clutch, transmission and major engine jobs are typically better handled in a shop.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Whether it's a day cab running local routes out of North Las Vegas or a sleeper passing through Southern Nevada, the approach is the same: diagnose first, then repair.

Starter & Alternator Service

Slow cranking, a click at the key or a battery light on the dash can come from several parts of the same circuit. We test the complete starting and charging system — batteries, cables, grounds, starter and alternator — before replacing anything.

That way you're not paying for a new starter when the real problem was a corroded ground strap.

Common problems

  • Slow crank or no crank at all
  • Single click or rapid clicking at the key
  • Batteries draining overnight or over a weekend
  • Low system voltage and dim lights
  • Alternator failure and charging warning lamps
  • Starter failure or grinding engagement
  • Corroded, loose or damaged battery cables
  • Bad grounds causing on-and-off problems

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Battery state-of-charge and load testing
  • Charging-system output testing
  • Voltage-drop testing on cables and grounds
  • Starter and solenoid replacement
  • Alternator and drive belt replacement
  • Cable end, terminal and ground strap repair

On-site: Starter and alternator replacements, cable repairs and battery swaps are among the most common repairs we complete right where the truck is parked.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Heat is hard on batteries, and summer A/C load keeps alternators working hard. If a truck is already cranking slowly in spring, a charging-system check before the hottest months is worth it.

Diesel Engine & Performance

Mobile diesel repair for engine, fuel, cooling and emissions problems — diagnosed on-site before any parts are replaced.

Diesel technician reading live engine data on a laptop connected to a commercial truck's diagnostic port

Mobile Diesel Engine Repair

When a diesel engine starts hard, idles rough or loses power, guessing gets expensive fast. Our mobile diesel repair in Las Vegas starts with diagnosis at the truck: scan tool connected, live data on screen, and testing that points to the actual cause.

We explain what we find in plain language, so drivers and fleet managers know what failed, why, and what the fix involves.

Common problems

  • Hard starting and no-start conditions
  • Rough idle, misfire or surging
  • Loss of power and engine derates
  • Low boost and turbo-related complaints
  • Fuel delivery and fuel pressure issues
  • Failed sensors and actuators
  • Engine fault codes and warning lamps
  • Cooling-related engine problems
  • Accessory drive, belt and tensioner problems

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Diagnostic scan tools and fault-code interpretation
  • Live data review — pressures, temperatures, sensor signals
  • Electrical testing of sensor power, ground and signal circuits
  • Fuel-system pressure and restriction testing
  • Boost and charge-air leak testing
  • Sensor, actuator and accessory-drive repairs

On-site: Sensors, actuators, charge-air leaks, accessory drive parts and many fuel-related problems are routinely repaired in the field. Major internal engine work, like an overhaul or in-frame repair, belongs in a shop — and we'll say so.

Engine derated or running rough? Talk to a diesel mechanic — call 725-291-9388.

Fuel System Repair

Fuel problems usually show up as hard starts, stalling or a truck that falls on its face under load. We trace the problem from the tank to the engine instead of hanging new filters and hoping.

This is legitimate repair and diagnosis: restoring the fuel system to work the way it was designed.

Common problems

  • Plugged fuel filters and restricted flow
  • Water collecting in the water separator
  • Fuel leaks at lines and fittings
  • Low fuel pressure under load
  • Air in the fuel system after running out
  • Weak or failed transfer pumps
  • Injector-related fault codes and misfires
  • Contaminated-fuel symptoms — stalling, smoke, rough running

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Fuel filter and water separator service
  • Fuel pressure and restriction testing
  • Repair or replace leaking fuel lines and fittings
  • Transfer pump testing and replacement
  • Priming and bleeding after a run-dry or filter change
  • Injector circuit and balance diagnostics where supported

On-site: Filter service, priming, line and fitting repairs, and many transfer pump replacements are routine mobile work. Some injector and high-pressure pump jobs are better done in a shop, depending on the engine and access.

Good to know: If a truck starts acting up right after fueling, keep the receipt and note where you filled up. It helps when contaminated fuel is a possibility.

DPF & Emissions Repair

A DPF warning light, a regen that won't complete or a DEF fault that triggers a derate can stop a schedule cold. We diagnose aftertreatment problems to find the root cause.

Forcing regen after regen without knowing why the filter is loading up usually brings the same warning back a few days later. Diagnosis comes first.

Common problems

  • DPF warning lights and high soot load
  • Regens that won't start or won't finish
  • DEF quality, dosing and pump faults
  • NOx sensor failures
  • Exhaust temperature sensor faults
  • SCR efficiency and catalyst-related codes
  • Damaged aftertreatment wiring and connectors
  • Derates, speed limits and aftertreatment fault codes

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Aftertreatment fault-code and freeze-frame review
  • Live data on soot load, exhaust temperatures and DEF dosing
  • Parked regen when testing shows it's appropriate
  • NOx and temperature sensor replacement
  • DEF quality, supply and dosing checks
  • Harness and connector repair on aftertreatment circuits

On-site: Sensor, wiring, connector and many DEF component repairs can be done on-site. DPF cleaning or replacement may require removal and outside service. We repair emissions systems to work as designed — we never delete, bypass or tamper with them.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Trucks that spend much of the day idling at docks or creeping through valley traffic may not build the steady exhaust heat some regeneration strategies rely on. That's one more reason to diagnose rather than guess.

Stuck in a derate? Call 725-291-9388.

Cooling System Repair

In Southern Nevada, cooling system repair is one of the most important services a truck can get. Extreme summer heat, long idling, stop-and-go traffic and heavy loads all push radiators, water pumps and fans hard, and a small leak can quickly turn into an overheated engine.

We find the leak or failed part, repair it, then verify the fix with pressure testing and temperature checks so the truck runs at normal operating temperature again.

Common problems

  • Overheating and high coolant temperature derates
  • Radiator leaks at tanks, cores and seams
  • Coolant leaks at hoses, clamps and fittings
  • Water pump seepage, bearing noise or failure
  • Thermostats stuck open or closed
  • Fan clutches that won't engage — or won't release
  • Cooling fan and fan-drive problems
  • Cracked surge tanks and leaking caps
  • Soft, swollen or collapsed coolant hoses

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Cooling system pressure testing
  • Coolant hose and clamp replacement
  • Thermostat and seal replacement
  • Fan clutch diagnosis and replacement
  • Water pump replacement where access allows
  • Surge tank and pressure cap replacement
  • Temperature verification with live data and infrared readings
  • Coolant level and condition checks

On-site: Hoses, clamps, thermostats, fan clutches, surge tanks and many water pumps can be replaced in the field. Some radiator replacements are mobile jobs; others need more room and lifting equipment. Work begins once the engine is cool enough to open the system safely.

In the Las Vegas Valley: High under-hood temperatures and heat soak while idling at docks and staging lots are tough on hoses, clamps and fan clutches. Heavy loads add sustained demand on top of that — so a cooling system with little margin left tends to fail in summer traffic, not on a mild morning.

Temperature gauge climbing? Pull over safely, shut down and call 725-291-9388.

How Las Vegas conditions affect cooling

Brake, Electrical & Suspension

Safety-critical systems on tractors, straight trucks and trailers — inspected, diagnosed and repaired where the truck sits.

Brake Repair

Air brakes are a safety system, and they deserve careful work. We inspect and repair air brake components on tractors and trailers, from leaks and low pressure to chambers, slack adjusters and valves.

If something we find can't be safely repaired where the truck sits, we'll tell you directly rather than patch it.

Common problems

  • Audible air leaks and low air pressure warnings
  • Slow air build-up and air dryer problems
  • Leaking or damaged brake chambers
  • Slack adjusters out of adjustment
  • Sticking relay, quick-release or protection valves
  • Damaged air lines and leaking gladhands
  • Dragging brakes and brake imbalance
  • Worn linings, drums and other friction components
  • Tractor and trailer ABS warning lamps

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Air leak detection and system pressure tests
  • Brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement
  • Pushrod stroke measurement and adjustment checks
  • Valve, air line and gladhand replacement
  • Air dryer cartridge and purge valve service
  • ABS sensor and wiring diagnostics
  • Lining and drum condition inspection

On-site: Air leaks, chambers, slack adjusters, valves, lines and air dryer service are commonly completed in yards and at docks. Full brake jobs with lining or drum replacement may be mobile or shop work depending on location, parts and equipment — we'll be clear about which applies.

Good to know: An automatic slack adjuster that keeps going out of adjustment usually points to another problem in the brake. We look for the cause instead of just re-adjusting it.

Electrical Diagnostics

Modern trucks run on a network of modules, sensors and wiring, and one bad ground can look like five different failures. We diagnose electrical problems systematically: test first, and replace parts only when the testing points to them.

That approach avoids the expensive cycle of swapping good components and hoping the problem goes away.

Common problems

  • No-start electrical faults
  • Weak batteries and failing starters or alternators
  • Corroded cables and loose grounds
  • Chafed wiring and damaged connectors
  • Headlight, marker and clearance light failures
  • Trailer electrical and 7-way problems
  • Parasitic drains that kill batteries overnight
  • Intermittent faults that come and go
  • Sensor power or ground issues setting multiple codes

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Voltage-drop testing under load
  • Continuity and resistance testing on circuits
  • Parasitic draw testing
  • Sensor reference voltage and ground verification
  • Wiring harness and connector repair
  • Ground strap and cable replacement
  • Lighting circuit and trailer electrical repair

On-site: Most electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs are well suited to mobile service — at a dock, in a yard or at a safe roadside pull-off.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Heat and vibration are hard on connectors and wire insulation. Some intermittent faults only show up on a hot afternoon, so it helps to note when and where the problem happens.

Starter & alternator service

Suspension Repair

Suspension problems affect ride height, tire wear, handling and how well the cargo rides. We repair air-ride and mechanical suspension components on tractors, straight trucks and trailers.

Heavy commercial loads — building materials, aggregate, beverages and palletized freight — work these parts hard every day.

Common problems

  • Leaking or ruptured air bags
  • Faulty leveling (height control) valves
  • Leaking suspension air lines
  • Worn or leaking shocks
  • Worn bushings and loose torque rods
  • Cracked or broken leaf springs
  • Loose or damaged U-bolts
  • Cracked hangers or brackets
  • Uneven ride height and suspension-related tire wear

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Air spring replacement
  • Leveling valve replacement and ride-height adjustment
  • Suspension air line repair
  • Shock absorber replacement
  • Torque rod and bushing replacement
  • U-bolt inspection and re-torque
  • Leaf spring and hanger inspection

On-site: Air bags, leveling valves, air lines and shocks are frequently replaced without moving the truck. Broken spring packs, hangers that need welding and alignment work may need a shop.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Dump and construction trucks moving between unpaved job sites and paved roads around the valley put suspension components through extra stress, so it pays to check them more often.

Fleet Maintenance

Scheduled service and defect repairs at your yard, so trucks stay in rotation instead of waiting at a shop.

Fleet Maintenance

Fleet maintenance in Las Vegas works best when the mechanic comes to the trucks. We provide on-site service for delivery, construction, distribution and transportation fleets at the location where the trucks already park.

Servicing several trucks in one visit cuts downtime, driver hours and shop trips, and makes it easier to keep every unit on its maintenance schedule.

Common problems

  • Missed or inconsistent PM intervals
  • Driver-reported defects piling up
  • Trucks pulled off routes for minor repairs
  • Air and brake issues found on inspections
  • Batteries and charging systems weakening before summer
  • Shop wait times that sideline trucks for days

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Preventive maintenance service
  • Oil, filter and fluid service
  • Brake inspections and air-system checks
  • Electrical diagnostics
  • Cooling-system inspections
  • Battery and charging-system checks
  • Belt and hose inspection and replacement
  • Minor repairs and driver-reported defects
  • Multi-truck service in a single visit

On-site: Service at truck yards, warehouses, distribution centers, loading docks, fleet facilities and industrial properties — scheduled around shifts when practical.

In the Las Vegas Valley: From North Las Vegas industrial areas to Henderson commercial parks, the valley's warehouse districts are full of trucks that can be serviced right where they're parked.

Want to set up fleet service? Call 725-291-9388.

Fleet service at your yard

Preventive Maintenance

Preventive maintenance is how small problems get caught before they become roadside failures. A cracked belt, a weeping hose or a weak battery is a quick fix in the yard — and a much bigger problem on the shoulder in August.

We can follow the intervals and checklists your fleet already uses, or help you set a practical routine based on how your trucks run.

Common problems

  • Oil and filters past their service interval
  • Low or contaminated fluids
  • Glazed, cracked or frayed belts
  • Soft, swollen or chafed hoses
  • Batteries losing capacity
  • Brakes nearing adjustment or wear limits
  • Uneven tire wear or low tread
  • Burned-out lights and damaged lenses

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Engine oil and filter changes
  • Fuel, air and coolant filter service
  • Fluid level and condition checks
  • Belt and hose inspection and replacement
  • Battery inspection and testing
  • Brake inspection and stroke checks
  • Tire condition and inflation checks
  • Lighting, chassis inspection and driver-reported defects

On-site: PM service is ideal mobile work: it's planned, it fits around your schedule, and it happens at your yard or job site instead of a shop bay.

Good to know: Consider scheduling battery, belt and cooling-system checks before summer arrives — that's when weak parts are most likely to give out.

Trailer & Reefer Repair

Dry vans, flatbeds and refrigerated trailers repaired at the dock, the drop yard or the roadside.

Technician working on the refrigeration unit of a reefer trailer in a Southern Nevada truck yard

Trailer Repair

Trailers have their own problems, separate from the tractor: lighting, air, brakes, landing gear and the box itself. Our trailer repair service in Las Vegas covers dry vans, flatbeds and refrigerated trailers at drop yards, docks and roadside.

Common problems

  • Lights out — marker, clearance, stop or turn
  • Damaged wiring and corroded junction boxes
  • Worn or damaged seven-way connectors
  • Air leaks at lines, fittings and valves
  • Leaking glad hands and torn seals
  • Trailer brakes dragging or not applying
  • Landing gear that won't crank or won't hold
  • Damaged doors, hinges and latches
  • Worn door seals letting in dust and heat
  • Trailer tire and wheel-end issues

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Trailer lighting and wiring repair
  • Seven-way plug and receptacle replacement
  • Glad hand and seal replacement
  • Air line and fitting repair
  • Trailer brake chamber and slack adjuster service
  • Landing gear repair and lubrication
  • Door hinge, latch and seal repair
  • Wheel-end inspection, with tire service coordinated when needed

On-site: Most trailer repairs can be done right where the trailer is dropped — no tractor needed just to drag it to a shop. Major structural or body damage may need a trailer shop.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Trailers sitting in drop yards and at distribution-center docks across the valley can often be repaired between loads.

Reefer unit repair

Reefer Unit Repair

A reefer that won't start or won't hold temperature puts the whole load at risk. We diagnose and repair common reefer unit problems on refrigerated trailers and trucks — especially the engine, electrical, belt and fuel side of the unit.

Specialized refrigeration work, like refrigerant-side repairs, may require a dedicated reefer or refrigeration facility. We'll tell you when that's the case so you can protect the load.

Common problems

  • Reefer no-start or unit shutting down
  • Unit battery and charging problems
  • Worn, loose or broken belts
  • Fuel-supply problems to the unit engine
  • Alarm codes on the controller
  • Electrical faults, wiring and sensor issues
  • Unit not holding set point
  • Airflow problems from blocked coils or damaged chutes

Diagnostics & repairs

  • Controller alarm code review
  • Unit battery, starter and alternator testing
  • Belt replacement and tensioning
  • Unit fuel filter service and priming
  • Sensor and wiring diagnostics
  • Airflow and return-air checks
  • Operational check after repair

On-site: Many unit engine, electrical, belt and fuel problems can be repaired at the dock. Refrigerant-side repairs and major component work may need a refrigeration facility.

In the Las Vegas Valley: Summer heat leaves little room for error with food service, grocery and other temperature-sensitive deliveries around the valley when a unit goes down.

Southern Nevada operating conditions

Las Vegas Heat & Truck Breakdown Conditions

Running commercial trucks in the Las Vegas Valley isn't like running them in a mild climate. Long, hot summers, heavy idle time and constant stop-and-go traffic put real stress on cooling, charging and aftertreatment systems.

Knowing what the desert does to a truck helps drivers and fleet managers spot problems early — and helps us diagnose them faster when a truck does go down. None of this means a truck will fail; it means weak parts have less margin here.

Technician inspecting a heavy-duty truck's radiator hose and cooling fan under bright desert sun
  • Extreme desert heat

Summer days in the valley push every fluid, rubber part and electrical component closer to its limits.

  • Long periods of idling

Waiting at docks and staging lots means low airflow through the radiator while the engine keeps making heat.

  • Stop-and-go traffic

Crawling through the Spaghetti Bowl or around the resort corridor means little ram air and more fan demand.

  • Heavy commercial loads

Loaded trucks climbing out of the valley work the engine, transmission and cooling system hard.

  • Hot pavement

Radiant heat off asphalt raises temperatures under the chassis, around tires and near wiring.

  • High under-hood temperatures

Heat soak bakes sensors, connectors, hoses and belts — and speeds up their wear.

  • Cooling-system stress

Radiators, water pumps, fan clutches and thermostats have very little margin left on the hottest days.

  • Battery & charging stress

Heat shortens battery life, and alternators work harder to keep up with A/C and electrical loads.

  • Belt & hose deterioration

Rubber dries, cracks and softens faster in desert conditions, leading to sudden belt and hose failures.

  • Tire heat

Hot roads, heavy loads and underinflation combine to build heat in tires and wheel ends.

  • Air-conditioning demand

Cab A/C runs nonstop for driver safety, adding load to the engine, belts and charging system.

  • DPF / DEF & duty cycles

Short local runs and long idle times can make it harder for some trucks to complete regenerations.

  • Long-distance interstate runs

Hours of sustained load crossing the desert expose weak cooling, fuel and electrical parts.

  • Dust & dry conditions

Fine desert dust loads air filters, packs radiator fins and works its way into connectors and air dryers.

Systems the heat hits hardest

Most heat-related breakdowns we see trace back to a handful of components. Tap any of these to see how we repair them.

Warning signs worth a call

  • Temperature gauge climbing above its normal spot
  • Sweet coolant smell or steam from under the hood
  • Battery or charging light on the dash
  • Slow cranking on a hot afternoon
  • Squealing or chirping belts
  • More frequent regens or DEF warnings

If the temperature gauge spikes, get to a safe spot and shut down before damage spreads. Never open a hot radiator cap.

Why fleets choose on-site service

No shuttling trucks

Nobody has to drive a truck across town, wait at a shop and get a ride back. The truck stays put and so does your driver.

Service around your schedule

Work can be planned for early mornings, evenings or between shifts, so trucks are ready when routes start.

Several units, one visit

When multiple trucks need attention, handling them in a single trip saves time for your whole operation.

Las Vegas Valley coverage

Mobile Truck Repair Service Areas Around Las Vegas

Las Vegas is home base. From our location on El Camino Ave in central Las Vegas, our mobile mechanics cover the city and the surrounding communities that make up the Las Vegas Valley — wherever commercial trucks work, park or break down.

We bring commercial truck repair to the vehicle whenever the repair can be done safely and practically on site, and we're upfront when it can't.

Primary service area

Las Vegas

Central Las Vegas, downtown, the Strip-area corridor, west and east side commercial districts, and the freight routes running through them. This is where we're based and the heart of our coverage.

Commercial Truck Repair Across the Las Vegas Valley

The valley isn't one market — it's a mix of freight hubs, resort deliveries, job sites and neighborhood routes. Here's how that shapes the work in the areas we cover most.

Home base

Central Las Vegas

Our location on El Camino Ave puts central Las Vegas, downtown and the resort corridor closest to us. Box trucks, delivery vehicles and service trucks work these streets around the clock, and typical problems include no-starts at a delivery stop, overheating in traffic and electrical faults.

Warehousing & distribution

North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas is one of the valley's busiest commercial areas, with warehousing, distribution operations, industrial properties, fleet yards and steady truck traffic. Trucks there spend a lot of time at docks and in yards — places where on-site diagnostics and repairs fit naturally into the workday.

Fleets & job sites

Henderson

Henderson's commercial areas keep delivery fleets, construction trucks, utility trucks, box trucks and service vehicles busy, many running back and forth to Las Vegas every day. Mobile service lets them be repaired at the job site, yard or business instead of being pulled off the road for a shop visit.

Paradise, Enterprise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Whitney, Winchester and Boulder City are covered the same way: we come to where the truck is, diagnose it there, and repair it on the spot when that's the practical option.

Covering the valley's freight corridors

Interstate freight, regional haulers and local delivery trucks all funnel through a handful of major roads. Trucks moving between warehouses, distribution centers and fleet yards use them every day, and problems often show up right before or after a long highway run.

We drive to the truck — on a shoulder, a ramp, a nearby truck stop or the surface streets leading to a job site. When a truck is in a live lane or on a shoulder too narrow to work on safely, it may need to be moved first. We'll talk through that with you on the phone before we roll.

  • I-15The valley's main north–south freight artery, carrying interstate traffic between Southern California and Utah.
  • I-11The southeast route through Henderson and Boulder City toward Arizona.
  • US-95Runs northwest through the valley and southeast toward Henderson.
  • I-215 / 215 BeltwayThe loop around the south, west and north valley that links many industrial and warehouse areas.
  • Spaghetti BowlThe busy downtown interchange where I-15 meets US-95.

Where we work every day

Mobile service means the repair happens wherever the truck is. That might be a fleet yard in North Las Vegas, a loading dock at a distribution center in the southwest valley, a Henderson construction site, or a truck stop just off the interstate.

Bringing the scan tools, test equipment, hand and power tools, and common parts to the vehicle means the diagnosis happens on the spot — and when the repair is practical there, it happens on the spot too.

Why Mobile Truck Repair Is Useful in Las Vegas

For Las Vegas-area fleets and owner-operators, the biggest cost of a breakdown is often the time a truck spends off the road. Mobile repair cuts out several of the steps that eat up that time.

  • Avoid unnecessary tows

When the repair is practical on-site, the truck doesn't have to be hauled anywhere.

  • Diagnose where the truck sits

Find out what's actually wrong before deciding on the next step.

  • Yard, warehouse & dock service

Fleet yards, warehouses and distribution centers are serviced without moving the truck.

  • Help near commercial routes

Breakdowns before or after highway travel, at truck stops or a safe roadside spot.

  • Several trucks, one visit

Multiple fleet units at one location can be handled in a single trip.

  • Less moving of disabled trucks

Fewer risky moves of a truck that isn't running or braking right.

  • PM where trucks normally park

Preventive maintenance happens at the yard instead of a shop bay.

  • Open 24 hours

Night, weekend and early-morning breakdowns are part of the job.

Mobile repair isn't the right answer for every breakdown. Some jobs need a lift, specialty equipment or shop time, and a truck in an unsafe spot may need a tow first. When that's the case we'll say so — and the on-site diagnosis still tells you exactly what you're dealing with.

24/7 call details & our Las Vegas address

How quickly can mobile truck repair arrive in Las Vegas?

It depends on things that change throughout the day: technician availability, traffic, how many service calls are already in progress, where the truck is, and what kind of problem it has. A truck at a central Las Vegas yard is a very different trip than one on a highway shoulder at the edge of the valley.

We don't promise arrival times we can't control. The fastest way to get a realistic estimate is to call 725-291-9388 with your exact location — business address, cross streets, or highway and mile marker — and a quick description of what the truck is doing.

Is Las Vegas Mobile Truck Repair & Service available 24 hours?

Yes. We're open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for emergency and roadside truck repair calls. Trucks break down at 2 a.m. on a Saturday, right before a 5 a.m. dock appointment, or late on a Sunday night, and calls are answered around the clock.

Being open doesn't mean every call can be reached at the same moment — availability depends on what's already in progress. Fleets can also plan maintenance for nights, early mornings or between shifts so trucks are ready when routes start.

Can you repair a semi truck on the side of the highway?

Often, yes — as long as the truck is stopped somewhere safe and legal to work. Many roadside problems can be diagnosed on the spot, and plenty can be fixed there too: no-start conditions, electrical failures, starter and alternator problems, air leaks, cooling-system failures like a burst hose or broken belt, DPF / DEF faults, and fuel problems such as plugged filters or air in the system.

Some failures can't be handled on a shoulder. Internal engine damage, major drivetrain work, or a truck stopped in a live lane may call for a tow or a shop. Our emergency roadside truck repair service is built around making that call quickly and honestly.

What types of commercial trucks do you service?

We focus on medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles — Class 6, Class 7 and Class 8 trucks — rather than passenger cars and light pickups.

That covers semi trucks, both day cabs and sleeper trucks, plus the straight trucks that work around the valley every day: box trucks, delivery trucks, reefer trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, utility trucks and construction trucks. We also work on mixed fleet vehicles for businesses that run several kinds of trucks. If you have a specialty body or vocational unit, describe it when you call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a good fit for mobile service.

Do you provide mobile diesel engine diagnostics?

Yes — diesel diagnostics at the truck are at the core of what we do. We come out for check-engine lights, no-start conditions, loss of power, derates, rough running, sensor faults, fuel-system problems, boost problems and aftertreatment faults.

A fault-code scan is the starting point, not the answer. A code tells us which system flagged a problem, not always which part failed. From there we use live data, electrical testing of sensor circuits, fuel pressure checks, and boost or charge-air testing as needed to confirm the cause before replacing parts. More detail is under mobile diesel engine repair.

Can you diagnose DPF, DEF and emissions problems?

Yes. We diagnose DPF warnings, regen problems, DEF faults, SCR faults, NOx sensor and exhaust temperature sensor faults, derates, and other aftertreatment fault codes.

The goal is to find out why it's happening. A DPF that keeps loading up, a regen that won't finish, or a DEF code that returns after being cleared usually has a root cause — a failing sensor, a wiring or connector fault, a dosing problem, or an engine issue upstream. Running parked regens over and over without that diagnosis tends to bring the same warning right back. The repair side is covered under DPF & emissions repair.

Do you repair trailers and refrigerated trailers?

Yes. Mobile trailer repair covers the problems that keep trailers parked at a dock or drop yard: lighting and wiring, trailer electrical problems, air lines and glad hands, trailer brakes, landing gear, and doors and latches. Most of that work can be done where the trailer sits — see trailer repair.

For refrigerated trailers, we handle basic reefer diagnosis and repair: no-starts, battery and charging problems, belts, unit fuel supply, alarm codes and electrical faults. Specialized refrigeration-system repairs may need dedicated equipment or a refrigeration facility, and we'll tell you up front if that's where the problem points.

Can you repair an overheating truck in Las Vegas?

In many cases, yes. Overheating usually traces back to a specific failure: low coolant, a coolant leak, a radiator problem, failed hoses, a water pump, a stuck thermostat, a fan clutch that won't engage, a cooling fan problem, or a slipping or broken belt. Most of those can be repaired on-site once the engine has cooled enough to open the system safely.

Las Vegas heat, long idling and heavy commercial loads don't cause these failures on their own, but they leave a weak cooling system with less margin — so problems often surface on hot afternoons. If the gauge climbs, pull over safely, shut down and call 725-291-9388. Never open a hot radiator or surge tank cap. See cooling system repair for more.

Can you repair a truck that won't build air pressure?

Often, yes. A truck that won't build air — or builds it painfully slowly — usually has a large leak, a governor problem, a failing air dryer, a stuck valve or a compressor issue. Until pressure comes up, the spring brakes stay applied and the truck can't move safely.

On-site, we find leaks, check governor cut-in and cut-out pressures, inspect the air dryer and purge valve, and check compressor output. Leaking lines, fittings, glad hands, valves and dryer cartridges are commonly repaired where the truck sits. Whether a compressor replacement is practical on-site depends on the engine and access. Related work is under brake repair.

Do you provide fleet maintenance at warehouses and truck yards?

Yes. We provide mobile fleet maintenance at truck yards, warehouses, distribution centers, loading docks, industrial properties and fleet facilities around the valley.

Typical work includes preventive maintenance, inspections, fluids and filters, brake inspections, cooling-system checks, battery and charging-system testing, electrical diagnosis and minor repairs, including driver-reported defects. Servicing several trucks at one location means nobody has to drive units across town to a shop and back, which cuts unnecessary vehicle movement and keeps drivers on their routes. Learn more about fleet maintenance, or call 725-291-9388 to talk through your trucks and schedule.

Can you service trucks at distribution centers, loading docks and commercial properties?

Usually, yes — mobile service is designed for those locations. We can work at distribution centers, warehouses, truck yards, loading docks, fleet facilities and other commercial properties, as long as the truck is safely accessible and there's room to work around it.

Because these are private properties, the owner or facility manager decides whether repair work is allowed. Some sites restrict where repairs can happen, require check-in at the gate, or limit certain kinds of work. It helps to confirm permission before we arrive, or tell us who to contact on site. If the property doesn't allow it, we can talk through moving the truck to a nearby spot where work is permitted.

What areas around Las Vegas do you service?

We're based in central Las Vegas at 2970 El Camino Ave and cover the wider Las Vegas Valley from there. That includes Las Vegas itself along with North Las Vegas, Henderson, Paradise, Enterprise, Spring Valley, Sunrise Manor, Whitney, Winchester and Boulder City.

Coverage isn't drawn by city lines — what matters is where the truck is and whether we can reach it. If you're not sure, call with the address or highway and mile marker and we'll tell you right away. Our service area section explains how we cover the valley.

When does a truck need towing instead of mobile repair?

Towing may be the better choice when the repair needs major shop equipment, when the truck can't be positioned safely to work on, when major internal engine damage is suspected, when the job involves major transmission or drivetrain work, when extensive structural repair is required, or when the problem simply can't be fixed safely at the roadside.

Even then, a mobile diagnosis can help. Knowing what failed tells you whether to tow, where to tow, and what the shop should expect — and sometimes the problem turns out to be a simpler fix than it first seemed. We'll be upfront when mobile repair isn't the right fit.
